Lake Mzy is a high-altitude lake at around 2000 m in the Auadhara area. Its water is very cold, and snowfields linger on the shores sometimes into midsummer.
The way up crosses alpine meadows and opens mountain panoramas. It suits prepared hikers; a stay in the Auadhara area is a convenient starting point.
